The Woodlands Township invites residents to join the 10th annual community-wide litter cleanup event on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Pre-registration for Earth Day GreenUp is now closed, but walk-ups are welcome to join.

Walk-up registration can be completed the morning of the event, starting at 8 a.m. at various parks in The Woodlands. A list of park check-in locations in each village can be found online HERE. Disposable gloves, trash bags, instructions and maps to cleanup sites will be provided at check-in while supplies last. A limited number of trash grabbers and vests will be available while supplies last. Supplies must be returned at the check-in site by 11 a.m.

The safety of volunteers, residents and staff is the highest priority. All event staff will wear face coverings. Participants are required to wear a face covering at the check-in location when picking up or returning supplies. Due to COVID safety concerns, the post-clean up celebration at Northshore Park will not be held this year. It is also recommended that groups send just one person to pick up supplies at the check-in.

For more information, please call the Township’s Environmental Services Department at 281-210-3800. The Woodlands Earth Day GreenUp event is coordinated by The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department with support from Chevron Phillips, Waste Management, The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N., Howard Hughes Corporation and Woodlands Water.
